October 31: The Queen of Belgium, Her Majesty Queen Paola is in the Kingdom on 11 days visit. Arriving at the Paro airport yesterday. Her Majesty Queen Paola was received by the Foreign Minister Lyonpo Ugyen Tshering, the Foreign Secretary Daw Penjo, other Foreign Ministry officials and Paro Dzongkhang officials. Sheik Hasina on 4-day state visit

October 29: Bhutan and Bangladesh will sign a new trade agreement when the prime minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, visits Bhutan on a three-day state visit from November 6-9. The chambers of commerce of the two countries will also sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the presence of the prime ministers of the two countries in Thimphu. McKinsey formula on tourism adopted

Police question IT personnel

October 27: An IT personnel, working with a private company, has been questioned by Thimphu police for allegedly circulating a sexually explicit movie involving a Bhutanese couple, according to sources. Police, however, refused to comment, saying that the case is under investigation. October 26: The Indo-Bhutan joint cycling expedition comprising of 21 participants from the Royal Bhutan Army (RBA), Indian Military team and a battalion of Indian Army was flagged off from the Royal Bhutan Army (RBA) headquarters in Lungtenphu, yesterday.
